This is the place to go to find nice new things to read, see, visit and watch; this is the anti rage-bait blog.
Here’s the deal: every two weeks (to begin with, hopefully soon every week), I’ll invite one person to talk about what they are doing in the world to create positive content. The content can be anywhere online or offline. The caveat is that the main goal cannot be commercial. That’s a slippery slope to decide what “counts” as commercial, but I’ll try to do my best. The idea is that while people might make some money from something, you’re not going to be hassled to buy supplements, gadgets, fix-alls or anything else. You might find artists or artisans who you want to support, or who create beautiful things you might want to buy, but that’s not the goal. The goal is just to find more beauty, love and sympathy in the world.
So why would folks do this? Well, some people just do. Some want the positive karmic feedback loop of sending something nice out in the world to try to tip the balance away from all the sadness and injustice in the world.
Our contributors will be asked to recommend three “things” to read, see, visit, follow or watch. These I’ll do my best to archive in a searchable manner so that if you just want to perk yourself up for the day, you know where to go.
